Treasure Chioma Ezem is the Ambassador of Nigerian Cultural Heritage Attires

Abia State born Treasure Chioma Ezem has been a leading promoter of Nigerian cultural heritage attires dedicated to promoting African cultural heritage since 2017. She does this through annuals cultural exhibitions especially the Made In Nigerian States Cultural Heritage Fashion Event (MINSCHFE). Through this she has gathered international accolade and recognition.

This includes an international award recognition at the Saguaro Film Festival in Austin, Texas, USA, in two prestigious categories; Best International Cultural Attires Displayer and African Cultural Attire Ambassador.

Ms. Ezem, who is also a Nollywood actress had on November 22nd, 2024, through her organization, TreasureBlues Intatement successfully hosted 55 African cultural attires in Lagos State for the Made In African Cultural Fashion Event (MIACFE) where she showcased the rich diversity of African cultural heritage. This spectacular event earned her organization, TreasureBlues Intatement an international award. This achievement not only highlights TreasureBlues’ commitment to cultural preservation and promotion but also puts Nigerian cultural heritage on the global map.

As a result of this, TreasureBlues Intatement has been invited to represent Nigerian cultural attires in an international film production in Austin, Texas, USA. This presents a unique opportunity to showcase Nigerian culture to a global audience and promote cross-cultural understanding.

The Minister for Arts, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, Hon. Bar Hannatu Musa Musawa has encouraged the young Nigerian and promised to support her towards promoting Nigerian and African culture. She also encouraged other well- meaning Nigerians to support her organization in this great venture. She also discussed with her potential collaborations and initiatives to further promote Nigerian cultural heritage. Reacting to this, Treasure Ezem thanked the Minister and Nigerians for the honour and encouragement. “We are honored and grateful for this recognition and opportunity. We look forward to continuing our work in promoting African cultural heritage and collaborating with the Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy to achieve our goals.”

Treasureblues Intatement has been showcasing Nigerian states’ cultural heritage attires on runways, promoting unity and peace among the country’s diverse tribes. The annual Made in Nigerian States Cultural Fashion Event (MINSCHFE) brings together models from all 36 states in a healthy competition, fostering bonding and cultural exchange.

Through MINSCHFE, Treasureblues Intatement aims to promote peace and unity among Nigeria’s tribes. By hosting models from different states in a shared apartment for rehearsals and cultural exchange, the organization encourages bonding and understanding. The success of MINSCHFE led to the creation of Made in African Cultural Fashion Event (MIACHFE), which hosted 55 African cultural attires in Lagos on November 22nd, 2024. The event featured a Nigerian state representing the country’s cultural attires on stage, showcasing the richness of African culture.
