Every time it is said that there is no power from some of the things created by God, it is assumed that either such people do not understand what power is or do not know how to apply and use such power. There is power in everything and man is privileged to use everything created as a tool to exercise these powers. What is power? It is simply being able to perform, execute or apply things to get desired results physically, intellectually, morally, medically, scientifically, legally, spiritually, resourcefully, conventionally etc.

The creator has granted all he created power within themselves and also power to use other creatures and creations to achieve needed desires and results. This power is not limited to any religion, race, tribe and people. It is not limited to human beings only but is inherent in all. Power is within and has been made available to everything created by God. Everyone can have access to power from within and outside what is available. So don’t say that other things, symbols, carved wood, stationary items and non-living and non-human beings do not have power. When man states so, it means that he is just exercising his thinking power and cannot be said to be true.

There is power in human body, animals, nature, trees, air, water, fire, blood, word, symbols, idols, wood, signs, sand and earth. These have in them power for healing, creating, discovering, and destroying. That’s why there are mental, spiritual, intellectual, physical, creative, destructive powers in everything around us. And there is freedom for man to use anything around him for the purpose he desires. There is power in fire to destroy and create. There is power in water to heal and to purify. There is power in land to reproduce and to protect. There is power in the blood to live and to damage. There is power in the word to curse and bless. These depend on how they are used and on those who know how to use them.

Every time man analyzes the enormous intellectual, spiritual and physical power he possesses, he assumes more that there must have been a greater being with such superlative qualities that created and gave him such powers. Man has uncontrollable power to think, freedom to act and power to control other creations and nature. Man uses such power which he assumes comes from a supreme being to recreate, develop, discover, build and reform life. He also uses his power to kill and oppress fellow human beings and animals, destroy other natures in most cases in order to build other ones as well as transform himself into other forms.

The world is developing every day and new things are discovered and invented. In order to contribute to this, man uses and applies limitless use of various forms of power. Despite the fact that man is still using his knowledge, intelligence and wisdom to develop the world and beyond, many still believe that this power is controlled by unseen superpower. Despite the fact that man has the power to accept that he was created by a being or not, it has not stopped the further development of the world. This is why some old and new thinkers strongly believe that man’s main purpose is to develop the world through the powers he possesses.

God has finished creating the world. His creations are what we refer to as nature; starting from land, air, sea, vegetation, animals and then man. Man, as the greatest creation of God is empowered to discover, use and recreate God’s creations.

There are institutions created by man for the benefit of man. These institutions were created to organize and develop the world and its people. In most cases, they were attributed to divine initiatives. It could be so indirectly since it is believed that the creator gave man open freedom of knowledge and understanding. Man is the only animal that thinks and has intellectual and spiritual power over all other creations. Armed with this, man created and named institutions and also created laws to regulate and promote them. That’s intellectual power. The processes for these institutions differ from place to place and can change from time to time. These include education, marriage, governance, calendar, religion, science and technology, culture, tradition, language, family and social living. These institutions have been accepted in most societies and have assisted in building and shaping the society.

Even though the initial power and knowledge of these were granted to man by the creator, man has unlimited power to use them.  In trying to identify his creator, man produced what looked like him as God. In so doing and in order to justify his choice, he gave the God he created superlative qualities, defends his human failures and promoted his extraordinary performance. This is why man cannot blame God for his failure because he attributes the highest qualities to God.  The God he created, even though has every quality of man became so infallible.  All the creations of man originated from the initial power granted to him by the creator. This power and freedom are the creator’s plan towards life. It has a role to play in the discovery of the purpose of life and nature of God.
